Thanks Crystal :)
Showers, Dolls and Baseball
After leaving the baby shower, we went home for a quick nap and then we were off to a costume party. Winston was a drunk priest and I was a pregnant nun :) Unfortunately we weren't very original. By the time we got to the party, we were the third priest and nun combo. We did have a really great time. I ended up spending most of the night in the game room watching the Red Socks beat the Rockies... GO RED SOX!!
Sunday morning we had a visit from our Aunt Cathy, Uncle Pete and Cassie. It was great to see all of them. They came to see Boston's room and our new deck... thanks to the previous late night, they also got to see my very dirty house. Thankfully, they love us and didn't mind the mess. We had a great visit. Cathy gave Winston some great massage tips which I am excited to try out :)
After our visit, we headed straight to New Braunfels for lunch with my parents, Pop and Thelma. We had some great BBQ!! Pop and Thelma gave us some cute little things for Boston. He got a sweet "Baby's 1st Christmas" bear and also a blue eyed doll dressed in a little blue outfit. Once we got home from our lunch, we decided to introduce the "baby" to our dogs, Brody and Lola. At first all they wanted to do was smell him and make sure he wasn't food. We kept telling them that he was a baby and they needed to be careful. As expected Brody lost interest in baby Boston within a few minutes (he has a slight case of ADD). Lola on the other hand sat very calmly as we held the baby. Once Winston put "baby Boston" in his bouncer seat, she laid down right beside the seat and didn't leave his side all night. At one point I picked up the baby and brought him to lay with me on the couch; Brody was briefly interested again. Lola just got up and came to lay in front of the baby and I on the couch. She was very sweet and seemed to be watching and protecting him all night. I fell asleep with the baby soon after and Winston woke me up later so that we could watch the Red Sox sweep the Rockies in a 4 to 3 win!!! Someday I am sure that Boston will love to hear the story of how lucky he was for the Boston Red Sox... helping them to win the World Series :)

Belly Shots :)
Maile did the most AMAZING job!!!! Winston and I were totally blown away! I can't wait to get our CD of all the photos so that we can post them all over this website and all over our house. Deciding to get these pregnancy photos done was one of the best decisions I have made throughout my whole pregnancy. She did such a great job of capturing the love in our family!! Thank you Maile :)
Please go and check out her website! Also, if anyone is interested in getting family photos or belly shots or newborn shots or any other fun shots done, please consider using Maile. She is the best!! The photos will only be available on that website for 10 days, but once that time is up, I am sure that they will ALL be posted on here :)

Baby showers and anniversaries
The food was AMAZING!!!! Kevin, Megan's fiance, made all the food for the shower and everyone was totally blown away by it. It was like hiring a caterer :) Mmmm... I really enjoyed my breakfast of leftover shower food this morning.
Today is our one year wedding anniversary!! To celebrate, Winston is determined to finish our deck. I am inside working on organizing our office. This was something I started a few months ago, but once I got into it I realized what a BIG job it really was. Now I have to finish it... so today is the day.
I am getting really excited, because last Sunday Winston and I took "belly shots" with Maile at Relish Photography. (The highlighted portion of the previous sentence is a link to Maile's website, go check it out.) It was one of the best things I have done since I got pregnant!! Maile made Winston and I feel completely comfortable and I felt so pretty (big belly and all). We went to Gruene to take our photos and had the greatest time walking around all the neat little shops and down to the water. I think that we should be able to see the pictures within the next few days, so we are beyond anxious!! Don't worry, as soon as they are ready, I will post the link on here so everyone can go check them out :) Anyone that is looking for a GREAT photographer for any occasion, please look into setting up a shoot with Maile!!
Thanks again to everyone that came to the baby shower last night and a special thanks to Megan and Kevin for throwing it!! Also thanks to Sally and Mac for letting us use their home for the night.

Boston's debut
I tried to post a video of Boston here, but my computer at work must be too slow. The video is neat because you see him moving around and stretching. He doesn't like for there to be any pressure on my belly, so whenever I have an ultrasound he moves around a lot. Even when I am reading a magazine and have it resting on my belly, he will start to kick at it. He is a very opinionated child already (wonder where he gets that from?!?).
There is one last photo that I have to put on here from that sonogram. It is my husband's favorite photo. It was at this point during the ultrasound that our doctor asked us whether or not she had already told us the sex of the baby. When we told her that she had said he would be a boy, she said good because he is definitely a boy! This is why...
... those are the proof that he is our baby boy.
First Post :)
I decided to switch from Boston's original website, because this one seemed much more user friendly :) That is code for, I really couldn't figure out how to post stuff on the other one very easily. So I hope that everyone enjoys the new website. I will be able to post photos and videos on this website as much as I want and with the last site it was very limited.
Also this website seems to be much more interactive. Whenever I post something (blog, photos, videos) anyone who comes onto the website can put comments that will go with that photo or video. I am really excited to see how this will all work. So let me know what y'all think of the new website. Love y'all!!
