We had a great baby shower last thanks to Megan (Boston's God Mother) and Kevin!! It was SO much fun. I really enjoyed being able to hang out with all our friends at once. I don't think I had seen everyone in one place since our wedding!
The food was AMAZING!!!! Kevin, Megan's fiance, made all the food for the shower and everyone was totally blown away by it. It was like hiring a caterer :) Mmmm... I really enjoyed my breakfast of leftover shower food this morning.
Today is our one year wedding anniversary!! To celebrate, Winston is determined to finish our deck. I am inside working on organizing our office. This was something I started a few months ago, but once I got into it I realized what a BIG job it really was. Now I have to finish it... so today is the day.
I am getting really excited, because last Sunday Winston and I took "belly shots" with Maile at Relish Photography. (The highlighted portion of the previous sentence is a link to Maile's website, go check it out.) It was one of the best things I have done since I got pregnant!! Maile made Winston and I feel completely comfortable and I felt so pretty (big belly and all). We went to Gruene to take our photos and had the greatest time walking around all the neat little shops and down to the water. I think that we should be able to see the pictures within the next few days, so we are beyond anxious!! Don't worry, as soon as they are ready, I will post the link on here so everyone can go check them out :) Anyone that is looking for a GREAT photographer for any occasion, please look into setting up a shoot with Maile!!

CONGRATS on the Anniversary! Where does the time go? We're so glad you're joining the +1 club, it's a hard job but the rewards far exceed all of the sleepless nights. I just love the 3D ultrasound shots. There's soooo much you can see yet sooooo very much you can't. Boston's eye and hair color, skin tone. I'm so happy for the two of you and can't wait for new pics!

Thanks Crystal!! This past year has REALLY flown by. I can't believe we are already about to another member to our family. We can't wait to meet him :)
I voted for Chase but Oliver was a close second. All of the middle names you've chosen would sound adorable. NO, really.....I'm not at all just saying that.
Sorry, forgot to add that I almost voted for Alan. That's Douglas' middle name.
At first I was thinking I liked Chase the best, but now Alan is sticking out more to me. It is Winston's middle name too. What is Daniel's middle name?
Daniel's middle name is Scott after my only brother..... who passed away a few months before Douglas and I got married. There was never any question what our son's middle name would be. We just had to find something we both liked.... My dad's name is Dan and Douglas' Father's name is Daniel so that was kind of an easy choice as well. I think it would be special for Boston to have Daddy's middle name. Good luck with your decision making!
